On April 16, we reported on a bill pending in the Nebraska legislature dealing with, among other things, nonparticipating manufacturers’ escrow obligations and tribal sales.  The bill passed the legislature with minor changes and has been signed into law.  We expect that similar versions of this bill will be introduced in other states during next year’s legislative sessions.  Please contact us if you have any questions about the Nebraska law or about the prospects for similar legislation being enacted in other states.
